Poll – Is Alberta’s Personal Tax System Fair?

leave a comment »

The top 50% of the earners in Alberta are paying 97% of the personal tax bill contrary to what many believe. The federal government stats are also similar to Alberta’s. As the Alberta government’s budget keeps growing with 65% of its budget going to just two items, health care and education ,and the average Canadian already paying over 40% of their wage to taxes and fees there is becoming fewer taxpayers to foot the bill. What do you think? Cast your vote and leave a comment.
